IFCN’s top 10 largest dairy farming companies worldwide
According to IFCN’s latest research, Saudi Arabia and China have the largest dairy farming enterprises in the world. China holds half of the top 10 list, while the rest of the companies are located in Saudi Arabia, Russia and USA. These ten companies, with multiple dairy farms, produced together 1.1% of world’s milk output in 2018.
Method: The research was conducted by IFCN Dairy Research Network aiming to create a better understanding of the dairy world. Database relies on annual reports, publicly available information and experts’ estimations. IFCN welcome any feedback to improve this analysis.
