Head of Sales & Business Development

Philipp is working since 2017 at IFCN and is focusing on modelling the milk production and price developments. He started as a dairy economist analysing, presenting and collecting dairy sector data in over 100 countries, he is now the Head of Sales and Development, managing, planning, analysing and developing the IFCN data services and insights.

Erik Elgersma

Lead Strategy Consultant

Erik has been Director of Strategic Analysis in FrieslandCampina up to Dec. 2018, where he worked for 20 years. He is now independent consultant to the global food industry, having among others consulted to five of the world’s top-20 dairy companies in the last 2 years. He is also a visiting lecturer at the Free University Amsterdam, School of Business & Economics, Faculty Management & Organization.

Jukka Likitalo

Secretary General

Jukka has 15 years of experience in the dairy sector and EU affairs. He has been heading Eucolait, the voice of the European dairy trading community with more than 400 members, since 2014. Jukka is the main representative of the organisation and responsible for its output and analysis, covering a variety of dairy policy and market topics.

Julie Collard

Economic Affairs & Trade Manager

Julie Collard is the Economic Affairs and Trade Manager at Eucolait, the European Dairy Trade Association based in Brussels. Her current responsibilities encompass data analysis, market reporting and trade policy, with a particular focus on trade agreements. With over 17 years of experience in the organisation, Julie has played a key role in developing Eucolait's statistical data, market analysis as well as its events and administration.

Mihaly Himics

Socio-Economic Analyst

Mihaly Himics is socio-economic analyst at DG Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission. He is specialized in developing market projections for the EU dairy sector, as contributor to the Short-term and Medium-term EU Agricultural Outlooks. He also has been engaged in economic research for more than 20 years, publishing on agri-food trade, agricultural policies and environmental links of the agri-food sector.

Andrea Porcella Capkovicova

Team Leader

Andrea Porcella Capkovicova is a socio-economic analyst in the unit of Analysis and Outlook at DG AGRI (European Commission) since 2017. In her work, she prepares the short-term and medium-term market analysis of milk and dairy products in the EU, and co-ordinates the process of the EU agricultural outlook.

Jurgen Elfrink

Global Analyst

Jurgen is working as a Global Analyst for Hoogwegt since 2020, developing quantified market views on the International dairy market. Prior to that he worked for the HAN University of applied sciences in the Social Sciences department and as a chair for the city council of Arnhem. 

Giovanni Guarneri

Dairy Farmer & Chair

Mihaly Himics is socio-economic analyst at DG Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission. He is specialized in developing market projections for the EU dairy sector, as contributor to the Short-term and Medium-term EU Agricultural Outlooks. He also has been engaged in economic research for more than 20 years, publishing on agri-food trade, agricultural policies and environmental links of the agri-food sector.
